Ord 32-2006 5/2/2006 ORDINANCE NO. - OCp ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 1760 SQUARE FEET OF THE EAST PART OF 2803 MONTGOMERY PLACE FROM SINGLE FAMILY-2 TO LIMITED COMMERCIAL, AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN FOR 2803 MONTGOMERY AND 4408 KEMP BLVD.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed rezoning change at their April 12, 2006 meeting and recommended approval of this request and related amendments to the Land Use Plan; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that the herein described zoning change and Land Use Plan amendment is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan designation of a tract of land described as being approximately 1760 square feet of the east part of 2803 Montgomery Place, Lot 2, Block 75 Faith Village, Unit III, and all of 4408 Kemp, Lot 1-A, Block 75, Faith Village, Unit III, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A", is hereby reclassified "Light Commercial." SECTION 2 The property described as approximately 1760 square feet of the east part of 2803 Montgomery Place, Lot 2, Block 75 Faith Village, Unit III as shown on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "B", is hereby zoned to Limited Commercial zoning. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
