ORDINANCE NO. ����i
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 46 AT ARTICLE III, ABANDONED,
INOPERATIVE, OR JUNKED MOTOR VEHICLES, AT SECTION 46-56,
DEFINITIONS, TO AMEND THE DEFINITION OF "ANTIQUE AUTO";
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the current definition of "Antique Auto" found in Section 46-56 of
Chapter 46 at Article III, Abandoned, Inoperative, Or Junked Motor Vehicles, conflicts
with State law; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to amend such definition to conform to State
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 46-56 of the Wichita Falls Code of Ordinances is hereby
amended, in part, to revise the definition of "Antique Auto," so that such definition shall
hereafter read as follows:
""Antique auto" means a passenger car or truck that is at least twenty-five (25)
years old. "
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
