ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2005 WICHITA FALLS
THOROUGHFARE PLAN FOR THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE
LAKE WELLINGTON ESTATES SUBDIVISION; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and
recommended approval of the proposed amendments to the Thoroughfare Plan for the
northern portion of the Lake Wellington Estates Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this proposed amendment and concurs
that the herein described zoning change is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2005 Thoroughfare Plan for the northern portion of Lake
Wellington Estates, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment "A" is hereby amended.
SECTION 2.. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
