ORDINANCE NO. - O �p
ORDINANCE REZONING 3104 PENNSYLVANIA ROAD TO LIMITED
COMMERCIAL, AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered this proposed
zoning change at their August 9, 2006, meeting and voted to recommend approval of
the request and related Land Use Plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that
the herein described zoning and Land Use Plan change is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan designation of 3104 Pennsylvania Road, being
also described as Lot 3, Block 9, J. W. Thomas Addition, as shown on the attached
map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," is hereby amended to "Light
Commercial."
SECTION 2 . The tract of land described in Section One of this ordinance is
hereby rezoned to "Limited Commercial."
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
