Ordinance Making An Appropriation In The General Fund In The
Amount Of $116,000 To Partially Fund The Purchase Of A 34
Passenger Trolley
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 34 passenger Trolley to meet
transportation needs of the community and the Convention and Visitor's Bureau; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Sales Tax Corporation approved $116,000 to partially fund
this purchase; and
WHEREAS, an additional $116,000 is needed to complete the financing for this
purchase; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in General Fund Reserves to satisfy
this funding requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An appropriation in the amount of $116,000 of General Fund Reserves is hereby
approved to partially fund the purchase of a Trolley to be used for transportation
needs in the community and for the Convention and Visitor's Bureau events.
