Ordinance Appropriating $2,043.87 To The Special Revenue Fund
From The U.S. Department Of Justice Bureau Of Justice Assistance
And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Accept Said Funds
WHEREAS, the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant has been awarded by the
Bureau of Justice Assistance at a 1 to 1 matching ratio with the federal amount being
$2,043.87 and the City of Wichita Falls matching amount being $2,043.87 for a total
grant award of $4,087.74.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The amount of $2,043.87 in federal funds is appropriated to the Office of Justice
Programs fund, and the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary
to accept the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice
Bureau of Justice Assistance, as described above.
