ORDINANCE NO. 75-2006
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 106-127 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES APPROVING WHOLESALE WATER RATES FOR
CONTRACT WATER CUSTOMERS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Section 106-127 of the Code of Ordinances, dated September 15,
2004 pertaining to water rates for wholesale customers is hereby amended, and the
following rates are approved for the indicated category of wholesale water customer:

The above rates shall apply to the following contract customers. Unless otherwise
shown, the applicable rate will be effective during the first full billing cycle after October
1, 2006, and thereafter.

The City Manager is authorized to execute such amendments to the water purchase
contracts with the listed customers as may be necessary to implement the above rates.
SECTION 2. The immediate need to continue the normal operation of the
business of the City creates an emergency, and in order to protect the public health,
welfare and to preserve the peace, this ordinance shall take effect on October 1, 2006,
and it is so ordained.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
