ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REAPPOINTING DIANE DOCKERY AND MIKE
WHALEN AS SUBSTITUTE JUDGES OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR
TERMS OF TWO YEARS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Diane Dockery and Mike Whalen were reappointed as substitute
judges of the Municipal Court by Ordinance No. 79-2004, for finro-year terms expiring
October 1, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, Diane Dockery and Mike Whalen have agreed to serve additional
two-year terms as substitute Municipal Court Judges, to act in the place and stead of
the Municipal Judge during any period in which he is temporarily unable to act for any
reason.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby reappoints Diane Dockery and Mike
Whalen as substitute judges of the Municipal Court for terms of two years, from
October 1, 2006.
SECTION 2. It is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
