Ordinance appropriating $11,475.00 to the Special Revenue Fund
from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, Rifle
Resistant Body Armor Grant Program, Grant Number 3479701 and
authorizing the City Manager to accept sa id funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been notified that it has been awarded
$11,475.00 from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, Rifle Resistant
Body Armor Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used to purchase 51 Rifle Resistant Vests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is appropriated $11,475.00 in the Special Revenue Fund from the Office
of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division , Rifle Resistant Body Armor Grant Program
(Grant Number: 3479701), and the City Manager is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to accept said funds on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls.
