Resolution authorizing award of bid for the purchase of one (1)
Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer system from Thermo
Electron North America LLC in the amount of $153,319.91
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of one (1)
Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer system; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 27, 2017; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase one (1) Inductively -Coupled
Plasma Mass Spectrometer system for the City’s water treatment operation; and ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1) Inductively -
Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer system from Thermo Electron North America LLC,
in the amount of $153,319.91.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of December, 2017.
