Res 038-2008 3/18/2008 RESOLUTION NO. 38-2008
RESOLUTION AWARDING FINAL PAYMENT TO JLT CORPORATION FOR
COMPLETION OF THE TAXIWAY "C" REHABILITATION PROJECT AT
WICHITA FALLS MUNCIPAL AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with JLT Corporation with
the estimated total cost of $547,779.10; and
WHEREAS, change orders have been previously approved, totaling $169,949.95; and
WHEREAS, actual final payment for the Taxiway "C" Rehabilitation Project will total
$75,616.72.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Taxiway "C" Rehabilitation work is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
