RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ENDORSING AN APPLICATION TO THE WICHITA
FALLS 4B SALES TAX CORPORATION FOR MPEC EQUIPMENT
REPLACEMENT AND REPAIRS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, City Staff wishes to make needed repairs and replacement of
equipment for its facilities in the J.S. Bridwell Agricultural Center, Ray Clymer Exhibit
Hall, Kay Yeager Coliseum and to the grounds of the complex; and
WHEREAS, City Staff wishes to request the consideration of the 4B Sales Tax
Board for payment of these services; and
WHEREAS, it is customary for the City Council to endorse applications
generated from City Staff to the 4B Sales Tax Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. An application to the 4B Sales Tax Board for equipment
replacement and repairs in the amount of $500,000 for the J.S. Bridwell Agricultural
Center, Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall, Kay Yeager Coliseum, and the grounds of the MPEC
complex is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
