RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID TO FURNISH AND
APPLY COAT-TAR REJUVENATOR TO TAXIWAY "B" AT THE
KICKAPOO AIRPORT TO HI-LITE MARKINGS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT
OF $28.273.32; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids to furnish
and apply coat-tar rejuvenator to Taxiway "B" at the Kickapoo Airport; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 28, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to preserve and rejuvenate the existing
Taxiway "B" at the Kickapoo Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid to furnish and apply coal-
tar rejuvenator at Kickapoo Airport to Hi-Lite Markings, Inc., in the amount of
$28,273.32.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
