RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE AN ENGINEERING SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH LOCKWOOD, ANDREWS & NEWNAM, INC. FOR
THE DESIGN OF THE COLONIAL PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
AND PLUM CREEK EAST BRANCH DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter into an engineering
services contract for the design of the Colonial Park Drainage and Plum Creek East
Branch Drainage Improvements; and
WHEREAS, Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc. proposing to do this work for a
maximum fee of $729,200.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Engineering Services Contract from Lockwood, Andrews &
Newnam, Inc. for the design of the Colonial Park Drainage and Plum Creek East
Branch Drainage Improvements is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
