RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE WICHITA
FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR
MARKETING PROJECTS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls 4A Board of Directors met on April 24; and
WHEREAS, At the recommendation of the Regional Marketing Task Force, two
marketing projects were presented; and
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls 4A Board of Directors approved $20,000 each for
a billboard and DVD to market Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation 2006-2007
Budget is hereby amended in the amount of $20,000 for a bill board and $20,000 to
create a marketing DVD.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
