unanimously. Ms. Flood made a motion to appruve tha minutes from the September 26,

involvement in the real estate transaction. Mr. Matthew Prouty stated tRa applicant YYaa

Mr. Prouty stated he had reached nut to the Tavas Historical Commission regarding the

Mrs. Christy graham made n motion to npprnvc thn painting of the exterior of the huilding
on the condition that it is deemed to he QtructurallV enugd. If the wast wail is found to he
in need of additional protection, stucra would need to he applied grinr t= pai=ting. Ms.
Flood Qel-noded the motion. The commission voted on the motion; mating paeead

Vice -Chairperson Graham stated the next item to apprnue %A1MQ the rephcement of the

Ms. Flood stated that due to the fact that only the broken and cracked windows were
being replaced, it would he important to match the evietiQg glass.

Vice-chnirgcrson Graham stated the next item to approve ,erae the renair and

the Gign in Order to repair the gm trinal, repaint the sign, attach a new sign fare, nod than
re -install the sign.

front door. SMe stated they Y.oald 6e replacing the existiny, hollow core door with a solia
wood and wrought iron door. Mr. Cee stated tMers vver-a new plans to reBaild the existing
door By replacing the existing glass wits tempered, insaiated glass and adding new
hardware.
Mr. DicRinson atatea that Fie Believe the existiny door was actually a solid core door, not
hollow core. Mrs. �jrallam aaRed it the door replacement was an item that needed to be
voted on, considering the applicant's would not Be replacing the OAibting door. Mr, Cebow
pointed out that the newly proposed changes were nut vvhat vvas 5a5mitted on the
application. Mr. Prouty Stated that changing out hardware and replacing ylaa5 would Be
conoiaerea maintenam;e and would not need to be approved by the Commission. It the
applicant eventually decided to replace tree door, he would need to suBmit a new
application for tyle replacement.

Boundary linea that had Been proposed. Re asked if there had Been any direction tr om
the Downtown Steering Committee regardiny the possible expansion. Mrs. Gagne stated
the maps that had been discussed By Me Lemmks iun_ were very similar to those that
had Been reviewed by the Preservation Lommittea.

could also Be a useful resource. Re stated that the available tax credits for both
cont fttinyy and non-contribatiny buildings in tRe Depot Square district were a strung
motivator to join.
