1. CALL TO ORDER.
A. John Fritzsch called the meeting to order at 1:35 p.m.
2. MINUTES.
A. The minutes of September 28, 2017 were put before the Board for
approval. Marcy Brown Marsdent made the motion to approve the minutes
and Charlie Zamastil seconded the motion.
3. DEPARTMENTAL REPORT .
A. Circle Trail :
Bluff Natural Trail, tables have been order for Bluff pavilion.
TX Dot grants for trail expansion will be announced soon, if they
made the cut.
Parks Dept. Received plans for the cemetery explanation.
Planted 4,500 pansies around town
Ground breaking November 6, 2017 for the Hamilton Park for Medical
Alliance playground equipment.
Recreation Dept. has approximately 2,500 enrolling per week in
athletics, 50+Zone and Recreation classes.
Santa mail box goes out November 17th at MSU Fantasy of lights.
Last Fall outdoor concerts was held Oct 24, 2017.
Halloween in the Park was held on October 21, 2017 at Scotland gym,
huge success.
4. PARK IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE:
A. Waiting to hear if 5.5 million dollar grant is approved for the Lake Wichita
Project.
B. City Council approved Ralph Streans painting on the spillway at Lake
Wichita.
5. ADJOURNMENT.
A. Meeting was adjourned at 2:32pm
