RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TX, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR TAXIWAY "C"
REHABILITATION PROJECT AT WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to rehabilitate taxiway "C" at Wichita
Falls Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program
entitlement money is available to the City of Wichita Falls to fund 95% of the cost for
this project and sufficient airport funds are available to fund the additional 5% of the
project cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said bid of JLT Corporation in the amount of $547,779.10 is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said Contractor for the improvements outlined above at Wichita Falls Municipal
Airport.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution wa� passed was open to the public as required by law.
