RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF INSULATED ICE COVER FROM HIGHLAND PRODUCTS GROUP IN
THE AMOUNT OF $80,920.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of ice cover; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on June 26, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase ice cover for the Kay Yeager
Coliseum;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of ice
cover to the bidder offering the "Best Value", Highland Products Group in the amount of
$80,920.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
