Ord 29-2011 6/7/2011ORDINANCE NO. 29 -2011 Ordinance Rezoning Approximately 4.78 Acres Of Land To The South Of The Parkstone Senior Village Apartments Located At 1727 West Rathgeber Road From Single Family -1 To Multifamily Residential, And Amending The Land Use Plan By Designating The General Area As High Density Residential. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed zoning change at its May 11, 2011 meeting, and voted unanimously to recommend approval of this request; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and determined that the herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: 1. Approximately 4.78 acres of land out of Abstract 194, as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A ", is hereby rezoned from Single Family -1 to Multifamily Residential. 2. The area on the Land Use Plan Map as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "B ", is hereby amended to add the newly annexed area and designate the new area as high density residential, and to change the general area at the southeast corner of Professional Drive and West Rathgeber Road from commercial to high density residential.
