Ord 101-2002 12/3/2002 ORDINANCE NO. \Ol - a0r)„;_, ORDINANCE REZONING LOT 1, BLOCK 1, CELLULAR TELEPHONE ADDITION, A.K.A. 5073 REILLY ROAD, BEING, 5.39 ACRES OUT OF ABSTRACT 66, FROM SINGLE FAMILY-1 TO GENERAL COMMERICAL ZONING AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended rezoning the herein described property from Single-Family-1 to General Commercial zoning; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning request and amending the Land Use Plan is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for Lot 1, Block 1, Cellular Telephone Addition, A.K.A. 5073 Reilly Road, being, 5.39 acres out of Abstract 66. Said property is hereby changed from low density residential to commercial desgination and is shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A". SECTION 2. Said property being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby rezoned from Single Family-1 to General Commercial. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December 2002.
